Telangana state has been lagging behind in the recognition of CFR rights. Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF) has recently entered into an agreement with the Tribal Welfare Department of Telangana state to initiate pilot projects on CFR rights recognition in Adilabad and Asifabad districts. ATREE’s CFR-Central India team will provide CFR potential maps and training in map utilisation for the two partner organizations, CPF and CCD, engaged in this project.
