Water and soil lab

The Water and Soil Lab at ATREE was established in April 2013.The Lab provides facilities to support research related to water quality issues. The laboratory is equipped to measure and quantify various physical, chemical and biological contaminants in water and soil. The laboratory consists of two units – Wet- chemistry and Microbiology. In the wet-chemistry unit we measure the physical and chemical contaminants present in water. In the Microbiology unit, as the name suggest we carry out tests to quantify the level of bacteriological contamination in water . The lab was instrumental in the successful execution of three major projects with two ongoing projects that involve analysis of water and wastewater quality.
