Divya Jyoti Bijalwan works at the intersection of climate change, biodiversity conservation, and community resilience in the Western Himalaya. Her work focuses on biomass management, ecological restoration of native Himalayan species, and community-led conservation strategies. At ATREE, her doctoral research examines how Himalayan plant species are responding to climate change and are evolving to perform ecological functions to inform conservation and strengthen the resilience of mountain ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.
