Aayush focuses on the conservation and restoration of landscape ecosystems, integrating geospatial analysis with field-based ecological investigations to support conservation science and the management of invasive plant species.

He has contributed to a range of research projects involving biodiversity assessment, ecosystem monitoring, socioecology, and behavioural ecology in marine and grassland ecosystems respectively of the Gujarat.

Beyond research, Aayush enjoys spending time with nature by exploring forests, trekking to mountain peaks, and discovering aquatic ecosystems through diving.
