V. Lalremkimi is a geologist with a Master’s degree in Geology from Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, with interests in hydrogeology and environmental geology. Her research interests include groundwater quality, hydrogeochemical processes, water-rock interactions, and the relationship between geological systems and water resources. Her postgraduate research on groundwater quality further developed her interest in understanding the processes that govern the occurrence, movement and quality of groundwater.

At ATREE, she contributes to interdisciplinary research on water and soil systems, with a focus on water quality assessment, surface and groundwater, environmental monitoring and geospatial approaches. She is interested in integrating geological, hydrological and environmental perspectives to better understand water resource challenges and contribute to sustainable management.
