Supervisor: Sailendra Dewan
With a background in Zoology and a specialization in Ecology and Wildlife Biology, my research interests lie in biodiversity conservation, landscape ecology, and the ecology of the Eastern Himalaya. My previous work includes modelling hornbill distributions across the Indian Himalayan Region, Nepal, and Bhutan, along with biodiversity monitoring and socio-ecological research in the Kangchenjunga Landscape. Through my PhD at ATREE, I hope to better understand the ecological processes that shape biodiversity across Himalayan landscapes. Outside research, I enjoy trekking, photography and junk journaling.
