Rohan Baishya holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from ATREE (Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment). He is currently working as a Research Associate on the project “Conservation of Community-Owned Forests and Biodiversity in Siang and Dibang Valley.” His primary interests lie in ornithology, a passion that took root during his undergraduate studies in Bengaluru. Beyond birds, Rohan is deeply engaged with issues of forest governance, particularly in Northeast India, and is also exploring the role of conservation filmmaking
