With a Master’s in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Nivedita brings a multidisciplinary perspective to water quality management, integrating ecological understanding. Her core interests lie in the ecological restoration of water bodies through community-based approaches with social and political context. She has also worked on groundwater quality assessment using the Water Quality Index (WQI) in the Pondicherry beach region, strengthening her technical foundation in water monitoring and analysis. 

Currently serving as a Research Assistant, she focuses on the development of nature-based solutions to improve water quality. By combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience, she contributes to sustainable and inclusive water management initiatives.
