Eulophia siamensis (Epidendroideae: Orchidaceae) from Sikkim; a New Record for the Flora of India

Eulophia R. Br. ex Lindl. (Orchidaceae), com- prising about 281 species distributed mostly in Africa, with some in Asia and Australia, is the largest genus in subtribe Eulophiinae (subfamily Epidendroideae: tribe Cymbidieae) (Martos et al. 2014, POWO 2024). Eulophia is terrestrial and exhibits extraordinary morphological diversity. It occupies a wide variety of habitats, from semi- arid regions and coastal dunes to swamps, and from grasslands to tropical forests (Martos et al.2014).
