This study aims to identify the policy actions and actors that can have the most synergistic desired outcomes for sustainable and healthy food systems. The study characterises the drivers, pressures, state, and impacts of change in selected food systems across diverse geographies of India, and recommends potential response actions. Secondary qualitative data from researchers, and document analysis of grey and policy literature is used to develop a theory of change for these food systems.
