The study aims to identify and map paddy and other arable land using radar (Sentinel-1 SAR) images in Karnataka. We expect to use annual trends (2018–2023) in paddy growth and above-soil water levels to predict disease risk for Leptospirosis, Japanese encephalitis, and Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD) in the Western Ghats.
