Project Consultant

Teresa Scholastica Thomas is a Research Consultant at the Agasthyamalai Community Conservation Centre (ACCC). She holds an M.Phil. and an M.A. in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her M.Phil. dissertation examined the concept of adaptation to climate change, critically analysing its context-specific usage and practices.

At ACCC, she is currently developing a climate literacy framework for communities reliant on nature-based livelihoods. Her research interests revolve around the intersections of society and the environment, with a particular emphasis on conservation, livelihoods, and climate change debates in India.
