Simi Sunny is a public policy and partnerships professional with over a decade of experience designing and scaling development programs across climate action, sustainability, education, health, and gender equity. She has led strategy and fundraising efforts for global nonprofits through partnerships with international philanthropies, governments, multilaterals, and CSR foundations.
In the last four years, Simi has been spearheading program development and partnerships focused on climate-smart agriculture, net-zero transitions, and sustainable value chains as well as international climate advocacy. She brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, government relations, and policy advocacy, having worked with institutions like NITI Aayog, national and state ministries, and legal networks. Her approach combines strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring program design aligns with policy impact and on-ground realities.
She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the National Law School of India and has studied social welfare policy in Norway. She is passionate about systems change and brings a collaborative, impact-driven mindset to every initiative she leads.
