Sanjana Nair is a Policy Analyst at the Centre for Policy Design. She holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from the School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. Her MA thesis focused on conservation-induced displacement, and relocation and resettlement policies in India. Currently, she is engaged with CPD’s work on ecosystem restoration and land management for Open Natural Ecosystems in India. Her research interests are in environmental and conservation policy and using political economy and political ecology approaches to understand land management and resource use in India.
