K. Kalaivendhan is a Consultant and GIS Analyst at ATREE, focusing on groundwater and water management in the Cauvery Delta. He works on the POLKA and REAL projects funded by IHE Delft, Netherlands, and leads citizen science initiatives for groundwater data collection. His interests include traditional tank cascade systems, participatory water governance, and GIS applications for sustainable resource management. He also engages in tank rejuvenation efforts in the delta. Kalaivendhan holds an MSc in Geography and a BE in Civil Engineering.
