My broader interests include developing geospatial solutions to understand land-use and land-cover change dynamics, mapping carbon stocks, facilitating formulation of policies for conservation of natural resources and biodiversity, promotion of sustainable agroforestry, and implementation of REDD+ approach.

Currently I am working on the Weeden Project to identify the land-use and land-cover dynamics and mapping the corridor between Singalila National Park and Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary, Senchal-Mahananda WLS and Mahananda WLS-Neora Valley. Apart from that, I am also involved in CFR (Community Forest Resource) project to identify and mapping the CFR potential areas, also providing spatial information for setting-up the state GIS portals.
