I am a researcher with an academic background in Zoology (B.Sc.) and Wildlife Sciences (M.Sc.), with a primary focus on herpetofauna, particularly amphibians. My work explores their ecology, distribution, and conservation, emphasizing the urgent need to protect these sensitive indicators of environmental change. In addition to amphibian research, I am deeply interested in studying rare and declining ecosystems such as Myristica swamps—biodiversity-rich, relic habitats facing increasing anthropogenic pressures. My research aims to integrate amphibian research with broader habitat conservation, contributing to both ecological understanding and the formulation of effective conservation strategies for lesser-known yet vital ecosystems.
