My name is Anushka Gurung, currently pursuing a PhD on Biodiversity linked-Ecosystem Services and Human Well-being. My research focuses on how birds contribute to human well-being and ecosystem services in agro-ecosystems. I come from a community rich in ecological knowledge, which deeply influences my research interests. I have a background in zoology and a strong interest in field ecology, conservation, and cultural connections with nature. In my free time, I enjoy birdwatching, hiking, photography, and sharing nature stories through writing.
