Ramit is an aspiring ecologist interested in studying plant–pollinator–human interactions, conservation, and sustainability. As a postgraduate in Zoology from the Central University of Kerala, his past research experience and publication include investigations into the biochemistry and ecology of coffee, pollinator interactions in crops, and studies in entomology and bioinformatics.
He is currently contributing as a Research Assistant at ATREE under the Cultivating Diversity project, guided by Dr. Prasanna N. S., involving the investigation and documentation of the fascinating dynamics of unconventional food crops in shaping the ecoscape of Central India, along with outreach programs involving Gondia farmers.
In addition to his scientific pursuits, Ramit is interested in design and content writing, including media features.
