I’m a botanist by training with a deep rooted passion for plants, which has led me to explore the dynamic world of grassland ecosystems. My research focuses on grassland community ecology specifically, how grasses and forbs co-occur and interact. I’m particularly interested in developing effective strategies for species selection in ecological restoration, whether through random choice, functional traits, or co-occurrence patterns.

In addition to plant interactions, my work examines how climatic factors and nutrient dynamics influence grassland composition and function. I’m conducting a series of experiments to understand these effects more deeply. I’m also keen on integrating the perspectives of pastoral communities to inform culturally sensitive and ecologically sound restoration approaches.

Beyond research, I’m a part-time baker and a home cook who loves experimenting with new dishes. I also enjoy birdwatching and preserving plant specimens.
