The Open Natural Ecosystems of India are critical biomes, with unique biodiversity, immense climate change mitigation and adaptation potential, and home to millions of pastoralists and their livestock. Our team at the Centre for Policy Design, ATREE has brought together the state of the knowledge on these beleaguered ecosystems with the aim to give them their deserved place in the sun in a White Paper on Managing Open Natural Ecosystems for People, Climate and Biodiversity.
