Applications are invited from interested candidates for the Vacation Training Program on
Bio-Resources organised by ATREE and funded by National Bio-Resource Development Board,
Department of Bio-Technology and Government of India.
Duration: 2nd May to 30th May 2006.
Course Structure
Lectures by eminent scientists and experts in the field of biology and bio-resources, visits
to research institutes, orientation to skills required for field-biology, out-door camps.
Course Fee: Nil.
Eligibility
- Students should have appeared Class X examination in 2006 from recognised schools in Karnataka.
- Certain activities involve spending few hours outdoors. Students should be physically fit and willing to take up such activities.
- Proven interest in Biology will be an added advantage

- A certified copy of class IX final marks-sheet
- Other relevant certificates, if any.

Note: Hostel facilities cannot be provided during the entire course.
Candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay in Bangalore. However,
accommodation will be taken care of during outstation camps.
