VACATION PROGRAM ON BIO-RESOURCES

Applications are invited for 2nd Vacation Program on Bio-Resources from eligible candidates
from schools located in the National Capital Region
Relevant details are as under:
Eligibility: Young boys and girls who have appeared in Class X examinations
in March, 2006 from recognised schools located in Delhi/ National Capital Region. Girls are
strongly encouraged to apply.
Program Duration: 4 Weeks (15 May-11 June, 2006)
Program Venue: Delhi and other program locations (hostel facilities will be made available as per requirement)
Program Fee: NIL. Fully sponsored by National Bio-resource Development Board, Department
of Biotechnology Government of India.
Program Content: Lectures cum interactive discussions with leading experts
on issues related to bio-resources, orientation visits to premier scientific institutions, skill
development sessions, communication and leadership development modules, outdoor field orientation
camp at Churdhar Wildlife Sanctuary (HP),
Application Procedure: Completed forms along with copy of Class IX mark sheet and a
150 word write up "Why I want to attend this program?" should be sent to :

Short-listed candidates will be intimated by April 30, 2006. Each selected candidate will have to
deposit a security cum confirmation deposit of Rs. 1000/- by May 5, 2005. The deposit is fully
refundable subject to orderly conduct of the candidate during the program.
