- Involved in linking science and practice for sustainable development from past 12 years.
- Preparation of resource map for 540 sq km forest in Western Ghats, India.
- Sustainable harvest of Non-timber forest Products (NTFPs) and value addition.
- Awareness and training on sustainable resource harvest for 7000 tribes.
- Developed methodology for Participatory Resource Monitoring (PRM) technique.
- Long term monitoring of forest resource.
- Assisted tribes on sustainable agriculture and organic farming.
- Restoration of economically important plants, environmental education for school children and strengthening traditional institutions.
