  • Develop and maintain organization and project websites with dynamic content generated using PHP, Java Servlets, JSP (using Tomcat as the Servlet container and Apache / IIS as the HTTP server).
  • Design, maintenance and administration of Databases (MySQL on Linux).
  • Implementation and administration of mapservers - MapXtremev4.7, Mapserver4.3 (Web-GIS) for hosting maps with various vector layers and adding functionality to this Servlet/CGI application by writing Java classes for presentation images/maps.
  • Installation, administration and maintenance of Linux based Mail servers (Sendmail, Fetchmail, Postfix, Firewall(IpTables),NFS, Webservers, Samba, CVS).

1) Project Title : Eco-Informatics
Project profile : Eco-Informatics is a project meant for Ecologist around the world to be able to get spatial and non-spatial information about the Ecology of various regions and provide the end user with GIS capabilities on the web and within the intranet. The technical specifications of the project are as follows :

  • MapXtreme Java Servlet (Linux) is used as the mapping engine.
  • JSP and Servlets are used for developing the WEB-GIS module for the project.
  • Mysql database and Mapinfo TAB files are used for storing Non-spatial and spatial information.
  • Tomcat was used as the Servlet container.
  • Apache was used to serve HTTP requests.
  • PHP/Servlets were used for generation of Non-WebGIS dynamic pages.

2) Project Title : CamTrap Manager
Project Profile : CamTrap Manager is an application developed for animal Ecologists who use camera trap method for conducting survey of wildlife habitats, process and analyze the archived data for further research purposes.

3) Project Title : EcoInformation Archiving System
Project Profile : EcoInformation archiving system is a application developed for the purpose of archiving attributes of different species relevant to the field of research carried out by the organization. It is used for archiving different information about the species along with its photograph and other details. The application was developed with JSP/PHP and Mysql (Linux) as the database with APACHE(Linux) HTTP server and Tomcat as the Servlet container.

Project Profile : The following is the functionality of the software :

5) Project Title : Loan Accounting System
Project Profile : Loan Accounting System is a package developed for companies Involved in financing operations like providing Housing loans, Mortgage loans or loans for vehicles and so on. The package involves features :

  • Loan processing, EMI calculation, Annual P&I bifurcation and other such business logic have been separated into custom classes and along with some standard NVO were stored on Distributed PB server for application scalability and re-usability of objects.
  • Handles day-day transactions like Entering of loan application details, sanctioning of loan applications, loan transactions like disbursements, repayments, re-schedulements, lapses, enhancements, PEMI & EMI collections .
  • Handles periodical processes like Annual EMI bifurcation
  • Generates statistical reports like disbursement reports ,sanction reports, Outstanding overdue reports, Individual loan history reports , Collection against Demand reports and some of the consolidated reports for Corporate office.

6) Project Title : HLPortfolio Manager

  • Re-use of NVO stored on DPB servers for business logic like Loan processing, EMI calculation, Annual P&I bifurcation..etc for application scalability and re-usability of objects.
  • Handles allotting available portfolio to corporate finance operations like securatization, refinance, Term Loans.
  • Generates various statistical reports indicative of Housing Loan Portfolio status.
