Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) is a non-profit research organization based in Bengaluru, which generates interdisciplinary knowledge to inform policy and actionable practice towards conservation and sustainability.

We are looking for a highly motivated Executive Assistant for the office of Chief Operating Officer & Registrar (COO& R) of ATREE. The incumbent would provide full administrative and secretarial support to the COO & R to ensure the smooth and effective management of the office, deal with senior stake holders, sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage correspondence, briefing papers, reports and documents.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, related events and related follow up.
  • Setup and maintain filing systems.
  • Carrying out any other duties that may reasonably or exceptionally be required to ensure the smooth functioning of work related to the office of COO& R.
  • Responsible for carrying out coordination and information-flow management of office of COO&R both internally and externally, and providing all secretarial duties as instructed by the supervisor from time to time.
  • Producing reports and presentations and work closely with communication department.
  • Perform data analysis for generating reports on both  periodic and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications
  • Manage internal stakeholders for timely delivery of communications
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Specification:

  • Graduation in any discipline with minimum 4-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Good command over MIS/reporting and presentation tools.
  • Keen interest in working with development sector will be an added advantage.

Compensation:
