EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
The Education and Outreach component of ATREE's work is rooted in its core research and
scientific efforts and constantly evolving through a consultative process with stakeholders
and partners. ATREE and its collaborating institutions work with rural and urban schools/colleges
in designing and delivering innovative conservation education programs. ATREE's outreach
activities have three broad aims. The first is capacity building of government and non-government
organizations; the second, to create awareness about conservation and environmental issues; and,
the third, to participate in and foster networks to help promote the cause of conservation.
