Ecological Economics
Ecological Economics at ATREE aims at applying principles and tools from Economics
to analyse man made changes in land, water and forest resources. This encompasses
both ex ante and ex-post analyses of shifts in use and management of natural resources.
The objective is to elicit economic arguments for socially responsible conservation.
Such economic arguments can guide formulation of policies related to natural resource
management focusing at long-term social well-being.
